Is therapy confidential?

How long are therapy sessions?


Therapy sessions typically last around 60 minutes. The duration may vary depending on individual needs and the type of therapy being conducted, ensuring ample time for meaningful discussions and progress.

How many sessions will I need?


The number of therapy sessions varies for each individual and is based on personal goals, progress, and the complexity of the issues being addressed. It's a collaborative process, and together we'll determine the most suitable treatment plan for your unique circumstances.

Can I use my private health insurance or medicare


Yes, therapy sessions are covered by most private health providers. Please check with your private health insurers amount they cover.  Unfortunately medicare does not currently cover counselling services.

Do I need a referral for counselling


You do not need a GP referral or Mental health Care plan to receive counselling services. 


Yes, therapy sessions are completely confidential. Your privacy and trust are of utmost importance, and information shared during sessions is kept strictly confidential, following professional guidelines and ethical standards.
